November 25th Worthing 4 Refugees
An afternoon of music and food at St Mary's Church Hall, Goring By Sea. Jamal and Alaa were invited to play. We took the community sound system along. The hall was packed, the food delicious and everyone enjoyed the music.
Thanks to Worthing 4 Refugees and all the community for organising and inviting Jamal & Alaa to play.
October 21st Made For Ukraine, All Saints, Hove
Fundraiser organised by the local Ukrainian community group, at All Saints Church, Hove.
Organised by Stand for Ukraine and friends,
with fantastic music performances by Volya Choir from
Chichester and their first visit to Brighton, Kolo Choir, Ukrainian Voices and Dina, Polina and Joe. (see Dina's solo CD here) . There was also delicious food from Julia and friends, community stalls, dance workshops and singing workshops with Lyudmila and Ukrainian Voices.

Conversations with local Ukrainian people and soundscape of incidental music, and ambience at the Made For Ukraine fundraiser event in All Saints Church, Hove, 21st October 2023. Music in this podcast is not from live music performances on the day but instead includes clips from song and dance workshops and someone improvising on the piano while the gig was being set up.
October 7th Every Sort of People Party
Organised by Culture Shift in partnership with Hastings Supports Refugees we were invited with Jamal & Alaa and Dina & Polina. A fantastic event, with music, art and food, we had a really fun day. Held in the Hillcrest Community Centre, Newhaven.
September 23rd: Ukrainian Thank You Day
Organised by Stand For Ukraine Brighton and Hove , who wanted to thank hosts and all who've supported them since February 2022. Held in the community hall at All Saints Hove, we were there with our community sound system, enjoying the music and delicious food!
