Svitilo Amal (light & hope) play traditional Syrian, Arabic and Ukrainian Folk & Pop songs and have performed together since they met in 2023.

They play regular events around Sussex and the south east of England. All three musicians also work as music facilitators for Music Action International

Polina: Flute and Percussion

Dina and Polina played together as a duo for a few years, they also worked with Alaa, facilitating creative music sessions with safety seekers.

Alaa is from a famous Syrian musical family and has played the Oud and sang for 25 years, he is a well-respected player and is also training to become a translator to help Syrian refugees settle in the UK.
